Conservative Treatment

My intern and consultant discussed "conservative" treatment (ie. not surgery) of a patient"s prolapse today.

It was an interesting discussion because the main treatment options were:
  • Sprinkling sugar on the prolapse.
  • Taping the patient"s buttocks together.
No, I am not joking.

I don"t think anything more needs to be said.

    That sounds more like a kitchen than a hospital. Are you sure you were in the right place?
